Ramblin' February 14, 2012
With the coming of the new year change continues to abound. Our churches continue to work to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 7 of our churches were represented at an evangelism rally designed to help think about ways to reach and win folks to Christ. If you or your church would like assistance in putting on an evangelistic event in your church, or for people in your area please contact us. Melanie and/or I will be happy to assist you any way we can.
God has reminded me in these past few days that as we pray and work together there is absolutely nothing that is impossible for Him. I am planning to pursue an open prayer time here in our area for anyone interested to pray for our region and seek God's face for intervention into the lives of the multitudes who live here. Please pray for this endeavor. Much of what has happened in the past year has pointed to the need for our area to receive a real awakening touch from God. It is clear that though our labor is never in vain, without the hand of God to intervene on behalf of the Gospel preaching churches, and true Christ followers here in our area things are going to continue to be as they are. It is in my heart to try to change that.
Next week we will be hosting Dennis Pethers from England who I believe has a word for us in this time in America. We will be meeting at Crosspoint on Friday the 24th, and Saturday the 25th of February at Capital in Carson City. We will begin at 9AM and have lunch at the church sites then journey into the field to pray for our region. For more information check out the More to Life link on this website.
Our Semi-Annual meeting will be held at Granite Hills Baptist Church on April 5 at 11AM. Again lunch will be served and we hope to have an opportunity to pray over their new facility which should be almost ready for use by that time. It will be a great time of challenge and fellowship.
May God use us as He chooses to reach all the people in our region with the Gospel in 2012!
IN Him,
Eddie
