Hands & Feet (Carried Out Monthly During the Semester)

One of the clearest marks of the ministry of Jesus was His willingness to spend time and serve the downtrodden of society. Christ liberated the oppressed, forgotten, and lower status folks like no one else in history. Indeed, Jesus ascribed value to the sinners and lowlifes (just like you and me) to such an extent that the religious leaders of His day reprimanded Him. At BCM, we believe the religious leaders of Christ’s day had it all wrong. As we understand Scripture, God has called us to be good stewards of the grace and blessings bestowed on us; and therefore, we are to be outreach minded people. In fact, we believe that Christ has authorized us to be His “hands and feet” among the oppressed and demoralized people of Reno. If you’re into community service and outreach then this particular ministry will provide you with plenty of opportunities to minister to others.
