Pursuit (Weekly Bible Study Groups that Meet on Campus During the Semester)

To be in a healthy relationship with someone you have to spend time with that person. It’s the same with God. Indeed, it is impossible to know Jesus Christ without spending time with Him. At BCM, we believe that God has lovingly given us a special Book that allows us to spend time with Him, get to know Him better, and “pursue” Him just as He affectionately pursues us. That book is Holy Scripture, the Bible. Getting familiar with the Bible, understanding how to maximize your study of it, and applying biblical truth to your life is the purpose of Pursuit. This past semester we had several people involved in discipleship study over basic biblical doctrines and theology. In Spring 2007, we will revisit Henry Blackaby's material, Experiencing God, Collegiate Edition, with the sole purpose of becoming more spiritually mature.
