Fellowship MinistryKoinonia (Random BCM Activities Throughout the Semester)
Every month during the year we’ll try to have 1-2 events to just hang out, enjoy each others' company, play games, and eat of course! Sometimes we will meet in another person’s house. At other times we’ll go bowling, go see a movie, go out to dinner, or do something off the wall like a scavenger hunt in town. Sometimes the girls will go have “Girls' Night” and the guys will get to have “Guy Night.” Whatever we’re doing at BCM, we want this time of fellowship to be authentic and relevant. As we’re connecting with God as the Body of Christ, we hope to begin to connect with each other. That’s what “koinonia” is all about: to be a group that truly fosters community, promotes service and sharing, and most importantly cultivates this other-worldly relationship with God through our relationship with each other. Some other events that we’ll do our best to make happen each year are National Collegiate Week in Glorieta, N.M. (pretty much the coolest gathering of college students from the the Midwest, Midsouth, Southwest, and West) and also Passion (easily the most amazing worship music event you could ever attend).
