Romans 3:23 says, “All have sinned…”Have you ever done something and then realized it was wrong? This is very serious. The Bible says, “The wages of sin is death.” Romans 6:23aThere is Good News:God loves us and has provided for the forgiveness of our sin. It is eternal life and new direction with Him. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16B Believe that Jesus died to save YOU. The Bible says, “God demonstrated His own love for us in this: while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8Do you know of anyone else who died to pay for your sins?Romans 6:23b says, “The give of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Have you already heard about Jesus dying for you?Even if you have heard it many times, you can miss the Living Water unless you are willing to...C Confess Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord.The Bible says, “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9Notice that there is something to do with your mouth and something to do with your heart. With your mouth you confess that Jesus is Lord. With your heart you believe that He died for you and was raised from the dead. God’s promise: You will be saved.This involves turning from your sin and turning to Jesus for forgiveness. (Acts 3:19) Romans 10:13 says, “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Three Important Questions:Does what you have been reading make sense to you?Is there any reason why you would not be willing to turn from your sins and ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior?Does this prayer say what you would like to pray to God?Dear God, I realize that I have sinned and need your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus your Son died on the Cross for me and was raised from the dead. I am willing to change the direction of my life by turning away from my sin and receiving Jesus as my Savior and Lord.Thank you for hearing my prayer and giving me the gift of eternal life.
